She was predeceased by: her parents, Onzell Davis and Willie Brown; her sons, James "Butch" Nelson (Edwina) and Ronald Brown Champion; her brother James Grayson "Sonny" Davis; and her grandchildren, Markey and Emmanuel Nelson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Lobo of San Bernadino, CA, Denise Richardson (Derrick) and Lenise Braziel (Brian) of Niceville, FL; her grandchildren, Brian, Rachel Braziel, Leslie, Jordan Richardson, Brittney, Breeanna Lobo, James and Ryan Nelson; her great grandchildren, Aubrielle Warren, Jason Palacios, Jayden, Jameson, Adan, Adrian and Makayla Nelson; and her caregivers, Lisa, Jenna and Stephanie. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
