With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph James Farricielli in Singer Island, Florida, born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on October 10, 2025 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joseph James Farricielli to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephine DeCaprio Farricielli and Vincent S. Farricielli; and his sister Christina Farricielli Schaap. He is survived by: his wife Jean (Paolella); his sons, Vincent (Lesley) of Guilford, CT and Joseph Jr. (Denise) of Bronxville, NY.; his grandchildren, Vincent (Daniela), Jonathan, Sophia, Leonardo, Fiona, Isabella, Joseph, III and Francesca; his great grandchild Vincent Ivar; his sisters, Laurie Farricielli Halla (John) and Susan Farricielli Norbeck (Carl); and his brothers-in-law, Ralph, Robert (Michele) and Ronald Paolella. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. (11 Wooster Pl, New Haven, CT 06511). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Bosco Parish (105 Leetes Island Rd, Branford, CT 06405).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Branford Community Foundation @ branfordcommunityfoundation.org in honor of the Farricielli Trust.
