It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur Truman Richards of Sneads, Florida, who passed away on September 17, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fernie Emerson Richards and Iduma McKinnie Richards; his son Steven Chris Richards; and his brothers, Randal, Donald, Troy and Rex.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine; his children, Rickey Arthur Richards and Sylvia Michelle Richards-Horney (Michael); his grandchildren, Katelin Richards (Cameron), Sarah Richards Potter (Austin), Fernie Richards, Jacob Horney and Brandon Horney; his great grandchildren, Adeline, Camden, Leah and Clay; his brother Ernie Richards (late Carla); and his sisters-in-law, Joanna Lavine Dean and Janie Lee Brown. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Salem Wesleyan Church (2764 Salem Church Rd, Sneads, FL 32460). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at the same location.
