She was predeceased by: her parents, Delmus Eugene and Mattie Louise Segers Scipper; her son Jeff Lanier; her siblings, Larry Scipper, Sharon Scipper and Patricia Scipper; and her sister-in-law Ruth Brooks.
She is survived by: her son John Aaron Lanier (Kelly); her siblings, Tullis Scipper (Brenda) and Linda Carol Taymon; her grandchildren, Kaylee Rogers (Kent), Aiden Lanier and Maddox Lanier; her great grandchildren, KJ Rogers and Brantley Rogers; her close friend James Wayne Dickson; the father of her children John Lanier; and her aunt Juanita Mears. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
