Samuel Chester Basford Sr. Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Renzie Basford and Susie Daniels Basford; and his siblings, Hershel Basford, Alfred Basford and Ann Richardson.

He is survived by: his wife Frances Dean Basford of Sneads, Florida; his sons, Samuel Chester Basford Jr. of Grand Ridge and Joseph Daniel Basford (Kayren) of Dellwood, Florida; his siblings, Lester Basford (Myrtle) of Marianna, Florida, Faye Harrison (Jimmy) of Boaz, Eldis Pope of Dellwood and Maxine Hamilton (Johnny) of Dellwood, Florida; and his grandchildren, Joseph Wade Basford, Linsey Elizabeth Basford, Lexie Nicole Basford and Delaney Maclay Basford. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, attendees are asked to observe all CDC guidelines, by practicing social distancing and wearing a face covering.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Chester's memory to the First Baptist Church of Chattahoochee general fund (503 Mainstreet, Chattahoochee, FL 32324).
