She was predeceased by: her parents, Brady McKinnie and Maggie McKinnie; her husbands, Harold Powell, James "Buddy" Pelham and Doug Hare; her sons, Kenneth Jake Powell I and James "Jay" Pelham; and her siblings, Tessie Poole (David), Essie Baxter (Coy Lee), Margaret Robbirds (Woody), Jerry McKinnie (Maria) and Mack Ryals McKinnie.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Powell (Jennifer) and Denise Rzycki (Greg); her daughter-in-law Rachel Powell; her grandchildren, David Whitfield (Shanae), Kenneth Jake Powell II (Nikki), Maggie Powell, Bryan Powell, Josh Hardin (Mayra), Blake Hardin (Sophia) and Tara Hardin; her brother Oscar McKinnie (Katie); and her sister-in-law Elizabeth McKinnie. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
