He is survived by: his wife Susan McDaniel Gibson; his children, Marvin Gibson, Patti Gibson, Crystal Jackson Avriett (Bubba) and Monica Jackson Ragans (Robert); his grandchildren, Whitney Gibson, Amber Avriett Basford (Parker), Autumn Avriett Applewhite (Cole), Kinsey Ragans, Chase Ragans, Brody Ragans and Mason Ragans; his great grandchildren, Emma Goff, Paxton Basford, Paisley Basford and Applewhite; his sister Marie Gibson Owens (Anon); and his pets, Bella and Lucky. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McAlpin Funeral Home (8261 US-90, Sneads, FL 32460). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the El Bethel Assembly of God Church (2503 El Bethel Church Rd, Grand Ridge, FL 32442).
