She was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Joseph and Myrtle Edwards; husband: Samuel Lee Roddenberry; children: Samuel Stanley "Stan" Roddenberry, Bryan Shelton Roddenberry (Angela), and Suzanne Leigh Roddenberry Wilkinson (Ben); grandchildren: Sarah Elizabeth Palowitch (Brendon), Alexa Nicole Louise Roddenberry, Samuel Moffitt Roddenberry (Natalie), Michael Anthony Roberts III "Trey" (Elisabet), Taylor Leigh Roddenberry, and Brooke Elizabeth Roddenberry; great-grandchildren: Kendall Leigh Palowitch, Charlotte Carolyn Roddenberry, and Matthew Bennett Roberts; bonus grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Benjamin Hooper Wilkinson III "Hooper" (Olivia), Collins Elizabeth Wilkinson, Sutton Katherine Wilkinson, Haines Johnson Layfield III "Trey", Jordan Kendall Layfield, Madison Irene Bryan (Joshua), Henry Elliot Bryan, and Mason Gerard Layfield; brothers: Robert Jack Edwards (JoAnn) and Clinton "Bully" Edwards (Arie); brothers- and sisters-in-law: Jamie and Pat Roddenberry, Mark and Yvette Roddenberry, Barbara "Babs" and Frank Chase, Mike and Jayne Roddenberry, and Harold and Elizabeth "Betty" Barwick; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the West Sopchoppy Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her honor to Sopchoppy Southern Baptist Church.
