We bid farewell to Miriam Ruiz of Sorrento, Florida, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 1, 2025 at the age of 85. Miriam touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ramon Medina and Rosa Medina (Melendez); her husband Mario Ruiz; her daughter Migdalia Ruiz; and her siblings, Freddy Medina, Johnny Medina and Nitza Cancel.
She is survived by: her children, Ivette Ruiz (Carlos Montes) of Orlando, Maritza Concepcion (Albert) of Staten Island, NY and Mario Ruiz (Maria) of Staten Island, NY; her grandchildren, Dalia Ivette Wright, Jessie Vega-Torres, Magdiel Vega, Javier Vega, Omar Quinones, Melinda Perdomo, Sheritza Montes, Dave Montes, Johnathan Ruiz, Hector Silva, Natalie Ruiz and Christian Silva; and her sisters, Doralia Rosado and Idany Rodriguez. She is also survived by twenty-three great-grandchildren; eight great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (895 S Goldenrod Rd, Orlando, FL 32822). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at the Chapel Hill Cemetery (2420 Harrell Rd, Orlando, FL 32817).
