She was predeceased by: her husband John Vaz; and her grandson David Martins. She is survived by: her children, Bernadette, Linda, John, James and Maria. She is also survived by 2 sisters and a brother in Brazil as well and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Turner Funeral Homes, Crematory and Cemetery (14360 Spring Hill Dr, Spring Hill, FL 34609). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Joan of Arc Church (13485 Spring Hill Dr, Spring Hill, FL 34609). A committal service will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Florida Hills Memorial Gardens (14354 Spring Hill Dr, Spring Hill, FL 34609).
