He is survived by: his significant other Shirley Babeck of Spring Hill; his children, Diane Jackson (Elliott) of Gary, IN., Susan O'Sullivan of Elgin, IL. and Thomas Mitchell (Jennifer) of Hoffman Estates, IL.; his grandchildren, Lauren Miller, Annalise Caudill, James O'Sullivan, Mary Brown, Timothy Mitchell, Amanda Mitchell and Katey Mitchell; and his great grandchildren, Ophelia Miller and Jack Caudill.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in George's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
