He was predeceased by: his parents, George Andrew Meyer (Harwood) and Anna Meyer (Zemlanski). He is survived by: his wife Paulette Dulude Meyer; his children, Jamie Meyer Hurst, Jodie Meyer and Jeremy Scott Meyer (Wendy Meyer); his grandchildren, Tyler Hurst, Wyatt Hurst and Kaitlyn Meyer; his stepchildren, Melissa Dulude and Thomas Dulude; his brother Andrew Meyer (Rosemary); his niece Robin Wilhelm (Jared); and his great-nephew Mateo Wilhelm.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made in George's honor, to a veterans' organization of one's choice.
