He is survived by: his children, Meg and Gordon Jr.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
No one knows the exact date of his first blood donation, but what is known is that he donated well over 100 pints in his life, and even when he could no longer donate, he volunteered as a courier with Life South Community Blood Centers.
