Gunter is survived by: wife Betti Schroter of Spring Hill, Florida; son Robert Schroter; daughter-in-law Kelly Schroter of Blairsville, Georgia; daughter Susan Bottinelli; son-in-law Michael Bottinelli of Blairsville, Georgia; and siblings, Manfred Schroter, Verner Schroter and Sigrid Spangenberg. Gunter is also survived by five grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
