She was predeceased by: her grandmother Roxie; her parents, Hazel E. Pipkins and Archie L. Pipkins; her brother Jerry L. Pipkins; and her pets, Corkey and Brandi.

She is survived by: her husband George Turnvall; and her daughters, Kimberly, Michelle and Amythyst. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with countless family members and friends.
