He is survived by: his siblings, Lovic Westmoreland and Mary Francis Westmoreland; his wife Ellen Hill Westmoreland; his children, Jeffrey Sims Westmoreland, David Brent Westmoreland, Cynthia Helena Bell and Allison Westmoreland Weaver; and his sister Edith Newby. He is also survived by his 5 granddaughters and 1 grandson.
