She was predeceased by: her former husband Col. Bernard "Bernie" Conklin of Stony Point; and her husband James "Dan" McDonough. She is survived by: her children, Jan Kodov of Spring Hill, Scott (Genevieve Conklin), Jeffrey (Heather Conklin), Mark (Sara Conklin) and England; her stepsons, James McDonough (Jim) and William McDonough (Bill) of Meridianville, Alabama; and her siblings, Lynn (Meyer), Rod Fauser of Collierville, Nancy (Meyer) and Alex Skavatsos of Houston. She is also survived by five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, she requested donations be made to a local no-kill shelter or the SPCA.
