He is survived by: his son Jim Maier (Sheri) of Rollingstone; his daughter-in-law Stacy Maier; his sisters, Joanne Rompa of Winona and Bonnie Czaplewski of Winona; his sister-in-law Celine Sobotta; his grandchildren, Amanda Leisen (Ben) of Blaine, Minnesota and Ryan Maier of Winona; and his great grandchildren, Nolan and Clara Leisen of Blaine, Minnesota. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
