Nila leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Nila’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Nila will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Utzy and Marietta Utzy; her husband Vernon D. Godown; and her children, Bonnie and Mark.
She is survived by: her children, Wendy Hansen of Spring Hill, FL and Bruce Godown of Lebanon, OH; and her sisters, Judy Buck of Doylestown, PA and Dorothy Ritchie of Vero Beach, FL.. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
