He was predeceased by: his son Micheal A. Gibbons; and his parents, Thomas Gibbons and Margaret Gibbons (Radcliffe). He is survived by: his wife Mildred P. Gibbons; and his children, Charles Self (Lori), Edwin Self (Karen), Robert Gibbons (Kelly), Heidi DiFillippo (Marc), Heike Miller (Jay), Kelly Stinsman and James Stinsman. He is also survived by 34 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild, as well as many nieces and nephews.
