He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph B. Marie E. Pieringer and Kendall. He is survived by: his wife Jean Pieringer (Gumprecht); his daughters, Jacqueline Galea (Frank) and Eileen Tong (Dale); his stepson Wayne Li (Jane); and his grandson Nathan Li.
