He was predeceased by: his parents, Moon Hyun Um and Dong Soo Kim. He is survived by: his wife Sue Um; his children, Alice Um Kope (Michael), Ben Um and Zandra Trull (Matthew); his grandson Andrew Kope; and his siblings, Tae Hoa Kim, Tae Yoon Eom and Jae Schemm.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that remembrances be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation, honoring Mr. Um's spirit and values.
