“Tom Crossman was a year ahead of me at Beason Grade and High School. We rode the same school bus also, as he lived a mile south of us. My most vivid memory of him is stopping to see him when he was outside in a lawn chair, shooting sparrows with an air rifle. He had been schooling at home while recovering from some surgery and treatments. Warren Drake”
