He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Tansey and Olive Tansey (Piper); and his daughter Cynthia Hopkins Wells (Tansey). He is survived by: his wife Clara Ann Tansey (Tkach); his sister Betsy Wolf (Tansey); his children, Darwin Tansey (Patsy) and Brenda Tansey French; and his grandchildren, Eric Tansey (Ashleigh), James Tansey (Sarah), Daniel Cross (Kelle), Holly Anne (Cross), Breaux (Cale), Katie Hopkins, Elijah French (Kaylee), Emily French and Anna French. He is also survived by his 9 great-grandchildren.
