He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter D. Miller Sr. and Doris Magee Miller; and his sister Jane Holliday (Doug). He is survived by: his wife Ann Shamp Miller; his children, Vince Miller (Quinn) of Valdosta, Georgia and Alicia Northrup (John) of St. Augustine, Florida; his grandchildren, Faith, Seth, Ainsley, Luke and Poppy; and his brother Walter "Denny" Miller Jr. (late Dondra).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
