She was predeceased by: her father Chaplain Leonard Thomas (Major); her sister Robin Melton Hickey; her niece Sabrina Williams; her grandparents, Jesse, Louise Messer, Lonnie and Norma Melton; and her granddaughter June Mattox.
She is survived by: her family, Kyle and Kendra Mattox; her mother Katherine Melton; and her brother Jonathan (Jonboy).
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Starke, Florida, where Celeste's daddy served faithfully as pastor for many years.
