He is survived by: his wife Lanette Griffis of Starke; his children, Kevin Griffis and Sharon Scheetz (Chip); his grandchildren, Adam Scheetz (Amanda), Nash Griffis, Cory Eddleman (Charles) and Naomi Griffis; his niece Karen Shepard; and his nephew Andy Griffis.
