He is survived by : his children, Doyce Dean Griffis of Starke, Tyffany Griffis Wishart of Hampton, Polly Griffis Smith (Richie) of Steinhatchee and Amy Beth Griffis of Starke; his grandchildren, Houston McClain, BriAnn Wishart-Thomas (Brandon), Daniel Wishart, Briar Smith and Jozee Smith; and his great grandchildren, Bryson McClain, Braycen Thomas, Cameron McClain, Bayler Thomas and Banx Thomas.
