He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Rhoden and Lillie Mae Rhoden; his siblings, Jamie, Ray, Billy, Lois and Alice; and his daughter Laurie Mae Burns.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Rhoden; his children, Steven Rhoden (Loretta) and Kim Hamilton (Jon); and his son-in-law Robert Burns. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
