With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Emma Jean Redding of Starke, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 7, 2026 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Leopold and Flossie Aline Johnson Davis; her husband Norman Lyle Redding; and her siblings, Benjamin Davis, Jr., William Davis, Robert Davis, John Davis, Thomas Davis and Fay Aline.
She is survived by: her children, Colonel Norman (Ret) and Christie R. Torode (Carl); her brother Charles Davis (Sandra); her grandchildren, Robert Andrew Redding (Jenny), Norman James Redding, Shelley T. Luke (Josh) and Amanda T. Hamilton (Danny); her great grandchildren, Remington, Kimber, Raegan, Judson, Laken, Brooke, Leah, Holston, Tate and Trisha; her great great grandchild Linley; and her sisters-in-law, Rose Marie, Marilyn and Sue. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
