With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James B. Cagle III of Starke, Florida, who passed away on September 17, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint James leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James B. Cagle, and Mildred Cagle, Jr. (Higginbotham); and his sister Mimi Cagle Urquart. He is survived by: his son Eric Cagle (April) of Starke; his brother Jack Cagle of Gainesville; his grandson Eric Cagle, Jr.; and his close friend Jenny Mann (James) of Hampton.
