He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack Sansing and Lovell Sansing (Strait); and his sons, Clayton Sansing and Gergory Sansing. He is survived by: his wife Rose Sansing (Srock) of Starke; his children, Dana Hamner of Wilmington, Cal Hamner of Charleston, James Sansing of Jacksonville and Chrissy Allen (Rick Thomson) of Starke; his brother Charles Sansing of Macon, Mississippi.; his grandchildren, Christian Hamner, Theresa Erickson, Jennifer Sansing and Joshua Sansing; and his great grandchildren, Ashley Sansing, McKenzie Sansing, Blake Erickson, Bradey Erickson, Shelby Sansing and Kelsea Sansing.
