He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Walker and Esther Walker Sanders (English); and his stepfather Horace Sanders. He is survived by: his children, John Walker II of Keystone Heights, Richard Walker of Keystone Heights and Christina Wells (Scott) of Starke; his siblings, JoAnn Wall (Ed) of Keystone Heights, Michael Sanders (Christine) of Melrose and William Sanders (Deena) of Gainesville; his grandchildren, Richard E. Walker, II, Tessa Walker Velez, Caterina Walker, Lorelai Walker, Connor Walker, Gabriel Wells and Lexie Wells; and his great grandchild Richard Eugene Walker, III.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel (620 Nona St, Starke, FL 32091). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
