He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth "Buddy" Thompson; and his parents-in-law, Roy and Janet "Nan" Nazworth. He is survived by: his wife Chrissy; his children, JJ Thompson, Carrie Thompson and Courtney Williamson (Michael); his grandchildren, Journie, Cade, Brayson, Veda and Luna; his siblings, Vicky Miller (Otha), Kenny Thompson (Nora) and Randy Thompson (Lori); and his mother Helen Thompson.
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel (620 Nona St, Starke, FL 32091).
