He was predeceased by: his wife Rose Clark Sanders; his parents, Thomas Elgin "Pinkie" and Gladys Fordham Sanders; his sister Rosalyn Sanders Hagan; and his brother-in-law Harold Hagan.
He is survived by: his daughters, Denisha Sanders Bonds (Brian Scott Bonds), Alissa Rose Sanders Lee (Joseph William Lee) and Kimberly Elizabeth Sanders; and his grandchildren, Faith Rose Lee Stuart (Craig Alton Stuart, Jr.), Caroline Grace Lee and Joseph David Lee.
