She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Thompson; her sons, Steven and Kim; and her siblings, Darlene Payne (Kingsbury) and Lanny Kingsbury.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Elizabeth Thompson (Kevin Crevier) of Highland, MI; her sons, Jeffrey Thompson of Lake Orion, MI and Andrew Ortiz of East Lansing, MI; her daughter-in-law Sharon Thompson (Kim) of Spruce, MI; her stepgrandchildren, John Kloka (Mary) of Hobe Sound and Alexandra Ortiz of Kansas City, MO; her sister Beverly Kingsbury Pearson; her sister-in-law Mary Sue Kingsbury (Lanny) of Alpena, MI; and her sibling's children, Mary, Edwin Hall and Daniel McNeil (Christie Tobey).
