He is survived by: his daughters, Shannon McCarten and Erin Christensen; his sons-in-law, Brandon Brunner and Nick Christensen; his brothers, Pat McCarten (Shari), Robert McCarten (Christine), Steve McCarten (Susie) and Richard McCarten (Joanne); and his grandchildren, Emma, Abigail and Madison Christensen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
