She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Dorothy Johnson Walsh; her husband Bob Burton; her sons, William T Glidden Jr. (Katharine Lyon), Roland Glidden (Donna) and Phillip Schuyler Glidden (Lydia); her grandchildren, Emma Glidden-Lyon (Derek Birkner), Sophie Glidden-Lyon, Ana Glidden, Will Glidden, Andrew Glidden and Peter Glidden; and her great grandchildren, James and William Birkner-Lyon.
