“Dear Ben, I am so shocked and terribly sorry to hear of Joan’s passing. Joan had told me she was going to Texas and returned and was going in for emergency surgery to have her spleen removed and I never heard from her again. I offer my condolences to you and to your families. Joan was a very wonderful person and could make everything alright the minute she entered the room, the whole mood of the room lit up. You have lost a wonderful person, God has gained an Angel. Rest In Peace, Joan.”
