He was predeceased by: his parent Rear Admiral Erl C. B; and his former wives, Susan Singleton Porter of Lake Forest and Leilani F. McCall of Philadelphia. He is survived by: his wife Katharine S. Laughlin of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.; and his children, James S. P. Gould (Elisabeth) of Palm City, Florida, B. L. Porter Gould (Julia) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, David B. L. Gould (Beth) of St. Petersburg, Florida and Holly Gould of Edemston.
