He was predeceased by: his parents, Paolina Laboranti of Italy and Dominic DelPonte of Italy; and his wife Michelle Jane Cullen of Great Neck, NY.. He is survived by: his children, Debra D. Finn of Kennebunk, ME, John D. DelPonti, Jr. (Margaret Savoia) of Palm Beach, FL, Thomas C. DelPonti (Mary Madeline), Michael P. DelPonti of Stuart, FL and Kelly D. Poovey (Wade Poovey) of McAdenville, NC.; his grandchildren, Caitlin, Conor, Sean, Lacey, Corbin, John Kellan, Claire, Delaney, Trudy and Thomas Jr.; his siblings, Donna M. Starke of Naples, FL and Kenneth D. DelPonte (Mariane) of San Francisco, CA.; his nephew John; and his niece Michelle. He is also survived by his nine great grandchildren.
