She was predeceased by: her husband James P. Johnston Sr.; her sons, James Johnston and David Johnston; and her siblings, Johnny Chalmers, Veronica "Kip" Collier and Catherine "Kitty" M. D'Alessandro (Anthony).
She is survived by: her son James P. Johnston Jr (Alma Rodriguez); her grandson James P. Johnston III; her son Timothy J. Johnston; and her siblings, Harry Chalmers (Robyn), Gerry Chalmer, Susan Sykes (Joe), Bobby Chalmers and Bernadette Gillen (Denny).
