Maxine Carol Levitt Obituary

Maxine Carol Levitt, 86, of Stuart, FL, formerly of Reisterstown, MD, passed away at her home on Monday morning, May 29, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born April 22, 1936, in Buena Vista, VA, the daughter of the late Nathan and Minnie Belkin. She was a long time resident of Baltimore, MD, and moved to Florida in 2008, settling in Stuart, FL.

Prior to her retirement, she was a cosmetologist and manicurist for over 30 years.

She loved spending time with her family, traveling, horse racing, gardening and yard work. She enjoyed walking and living a healthy lifestyle.

Maxine was the loving wife of 25 years of the late Burton "Buddy" Levitt, who passed in 1981, and is survived by her loving daughter, Deborah Crafton of Stuart, FL; her granddaughter, Brittany Crafton of Stuart, FL; her sister, Barbara Baker of Maryland; her son-in-law, Charles Crafton of Stuart, FL; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Herman Charles Levitt in 1980, and her brother, Marvin Belkin.

A Celebration of Life will be held in July. Date and time will be announced on this website.
