Gilbert, Johnny Truitt, Jimmy Lee Hughes and Bennie Will Hughes; his wife Beverly Truitt; his children, Matressis Truitt, Michelle Truitt, Lavonjia Peavy, San Antonio Broadnax (Jeremy), Michael Truitt Jr., Trey Monaco, Derek Davis and Charles Glover III; and his siblings, Debra L. Truitt-Smith, Pamela K. Hughes and Charles Hughes. He was also cherished by 8 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
