He is survived by: his wife Joanne Cossentino (Bernard); his daughters, Michele Cutrone (Cossentino) and Melissa Cossentino; his grandchildren, Ava and Brady; and his sibling's children, Ron Casey, Eric Cossentino, Eric Bernard, Zach Howard, Amy Cossentino, Cheryl Thornton (Casey) and Danielle Perseghin (Bernard).

Pat joined the U.S. Air Force in April 1967 where he specialized in electronics while stationed at Patrick AFB in Cocoa Beach, FL, serving as a flight maintenance technician where he traveled the world in support of multiple Apollo missions—his blood donation even traveled with the astronauts on the infamous Apollo 13 mission.
