He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferdinand "Fred" Kamentz and Luetta Kamentz (Mueller); his daughter Yupha Silapawanont; and his siblings, Fred (Virginia), Arthur, Harold (Dorothy), Eugene Kamentz (Shirley) and Shirley Kamentz.
He is survived by: his wife Lek Kamentz; his children, Michael Kamentz (Jampee), David Kamentz (Beatrice), Diane Kamentz, Donald Kamentz and Kesarin Allen (Mark); his grandchildren, Jaime Kamentz, Alexander Kamentz, Alayna Kamentz and Charles Gonsalves (Julia); and his great grandchildren, Gunner Radalyac, Ava Gonsalves and Liam Gonsalves.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Dick's memory to Alzheimer's Community Care (alzcare.org), whose compassionate staff at the Stuart center provided extraordinary care and support to Dick in his final years.
