He was predeceased by: his foster parents, Henry Thom and Elva Thom; and his wife Mary Ann Newby. He is survived by: his granddaughters, Priscilla Lim and Leah Ditchek; his nieces, Anna Sacks and Elizabeth Veldman; his sisters, Ann Gillespie and Karen Hagen; and his daughter Nancy Robbins. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, extended family members, and dear friends.
