She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Collins and Charles Collins; her siblings, Barbara Lewis and Edward Collins; and her daughter Sarah Curtis.

She is survived by: her husband Norman Hammer; her children, Cynthia Curtis (Lewis) and Gordon Curtis (Kate); and her stepchildren, Dianne McCarthy (Michael), Susan Kushmerek (Stanley), Douglass Hammer (Jodi) and Russell Hammer (Kelly). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice in her memory.
