He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Dingman and Betty Dingman; his granddaughters, Samantha Jo Lenihan and Emily Erin Lenihan; and his sister-in-law Ann Dingman.

He is survived by: his wife Sally Dingman; his children, Amy Lauer of Buffalo, NY, Terri Lenihan (Jerry) of Council Bluffs, IA, Jody Dingman of Columbia, PA, Sidney W Dingman Jr. (Debra) of Knoxville, TN and Trudy Anderson of Fort Pierce; and his siblings, Ned Dingman, Jerry Dingman (Sharon), Andrew Dingman, Jill Rooney (Paul), Betsy Boundy and Betty Ann Dingman. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
