He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Çavit Gursel and Julide Guclu Gursel; his wife Firdevs Gursel; his daughters, Çim Julide Dolan (Brian) and Burcin Fatos Gursel-Byrne (Brendan); his grandchildren, Connor Aydin Dolan, Sean Evren Dolan and Bodhi Ismail Gursel-Byrne; his brother Serdar Sait Gursel; and his sister-in-law Sibel Ayten Pelit Gursel. He was also cherished by numerous In-Laws, neighbors and friends.
